Overview

We were approached by our client seeking a fast solution. The client had over 60 items of powder and liquid blending, filling and packaging equipment located on the Aware Environmental Pty Ltd (Administrators Appointed) in Dandenong.

Challenges

The property had been sold and a fast solution needed to be presented, agreed and executed to avoid an expensive relocation to another third party facility. The challenge required alignment with the landlord to support the solution. our team inspected the equipment and rapidly turned around an inventory and valuation of all plant and machinery on the site and a commercial proposal and timetable to deliver the result in a very short timeframe. there was no power available on the site as a theft had occurred and the copper power infeed had been stolen. Replacement cabling was not an option before the sale had to be completed.

Client Needs

The client instructed us to proceed and we immediately implemented a marketing campaign targeting end-users and traders both locally in Victoria and nationally.

Our team organised a standby generator to open roller doors and provide temporary lighting.

 

The sale was a big success with a 100% clearance of all items at the auction. the sale result was 65% over our low estimation and 35% above our high estimation. we found buyers both within Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia.

 

Buyers that had purchased assets previously from the site from another company made the comment they couldn’t get a look in as the prices were so strong.

 

The feedback from the client was “brilliant effort”. we delivered 100% clearance to a national audience and achieved well over their own expectation
