A requirement was the uplift and cost effective salvage operation of all new equipment in timely
manner

Hilco coordinated a cost-effective salvage operation to maximise returns from $1M of new commercial gym equipment following a fire. Firstly, Hilco worked with the relevant stakeholders to classify, organise and uplift several hundred items to a secure site for preparation and sale. The team consolidated the equipment into approximately 250 lots to maximise auction performance, overcoming challenges associated with limited storage and the cleaning and presentation of metallic gym equipment. Secondly, Hilco implemented a targeted marketing campaign to attract suitable buyers and generate competitive auction activity. The campaign attracted 10,159 unique visitors and generated 124 key conversions, with all assets sold and overall results significantly exceeding original expectations.
